we're still here

After one crazy, busy work week, daily walks, and plenty of moving around...we're still pregnant!  I guess this little babe is just happy and snug in there.  I think the funniest thing is that Jamie and I had been making the most of our last nights together...for the past week!  I guess it's kind of nice to appreciate your time together, but at this point, it's slightly humorous.  One added bonus is all of the things we've been able to get lots of work done around the house, tho.  (Seriously, I've been washing cars, cleaning like crazy, doing yard work...and baby is staying put!)

We do have an end in sight, tho, as we'll be induced this Wednesday if it doesn't happen before then.  Of course, we are so excited about meeting our little son our daughter (it's still weird saying that!), but I'm not gonna lie...I'm a little anxious about it.  Especially now that it's most likely going to be a planned thing.  Just praying through any of the feelings of doubt, given that I know there's going to be nothing like being parents.  I really can't wait to see Jamie as a dad!!

Anyhow, this is one random post, but I'll wrap up with a few photos from this weekend.  We ended up making the short trip to Carrollton on Saturday night, to help surprise my brother-in-law, Tee, on his 40th birthday.

Praying for ya'll...don't worry about possible induction, I had to be induced with Lane due to low platelet levels on my actual due date and was very anxious as I did not want to be induced, and everything went smoothly and he came right out (only 6 hours of labor) ! So I know it will be great! and you are the cutest 41 + week pregnant person I know!

Ah...thank you, Rayne! I don't know why it makes me nervous, but I have so appreciated comments from my friends who have been induced and been fine!

We'll keep you posted :).

I was induced, and all I can say is that if Harleigh is a poster child for induced babies, you'll be blessed with a daughter or son who at the age of 20 still calls her mom 10 times a day to say "I love you" and chat about nothing and everything in the same conversation. You'll do great. I just know it. I get all teary-eyed thinking about it.
